Our commitment
Jamal Knyte LLC wants jamalknyte.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
The Site uses semantic HTML so screen readers can interpret structure correctly, and supports keyboard navigation for all interactive elements with visible focus indicators. Meaningful images carry alternative text. Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA ratios for text. The layout is responsive and works at 200% zoom across screen sizes. Links are descriptive and make sense out of context rather than reading "click here." There is no auto-playing media, no flashing content, and no unexpected motion. Typography is readable at comfortable sizes with adequate line spacing, and heading structure is logical so the page can be navigated by heading.
Known limitations
We are honest about where we fall short.
PDF products may not be fully screen-reader optimized. Layout-heavy documents present real accessibility challenges. If you need an accessible version of anything you purchased, email us and we will provide one at no cost.
Third-party components, including the Stripe checkout, are outside our direct control. Stripe maintains its own accessibility program.
Social media content linked from the Site is governed by the accessibility of those platforms.
Assessment
The Site is assessed through internal review, including keyboard-only navigation testing, screen reader spot checks, contrast verification, and automated tooling. We have not commissioned a formal third-party accessibility audit. We are a one-person business and are being straightforward about that rather than claiming a certification we do not hold.
Tell us if something does not work
This is the most useful thing you can do, and we mean it.
If you encounter a barrier, email legal@jamalknyte.com and tell us what page or product, what you were trying to do, what assistive technology you were using if any, and what happened. We respond within 2 business days and will work with you to provide the content in a usable form while we fix the underlying issue.
Alternative access
If any part of the Site is inaccessible to you, we will provide the information or complete the transaction another way — including by email or by supplying content in an alternative format. Contact us and we will make it work. There is no charge for this.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is ongoing, not a box we tick. As we add features, we build them to the same standard, and we treat accessibility reports as bugs rather than requests.
